Description

Check an early prototype of a pixel-art atypical platformer, with a combat based on Cuphead, movement with Mirrors Edge elements and more! Based on a dystopian future where everyone lives in a simulation except the player.  It's a difficult and short game, but it's incredibly rewarding to speedrun. Instead of just killing the enemies with contact like in most platformers, in NEOTALES you have to fight with them. It's a short but challeging demo, so let me know you'd like more levels with brand new features!

Controls

  • Arrow keys to move.
  • Space to jump.
  • TAB to reset the level.
  • Control to go to the menu.
  • F to shoot the enemy.
  • In Menu, Arrows and Intro to select options.

Install instructions

You just have to extract it as a normal zip and run the .exe file.

Please note that the game is not finished, bugs may be possible and features like going to the same spot after a battle are missing and in the works. I would really apreciate if you notified the bugs on the discussion board. Thanks for playing!
